What this site is
Whisparr.org is an independent resource dedicated to one piece of software: Whisparr, the open-source media automation tool from the *arr family. We exist because Whisparr has a smaller community than its siblings Radarr and Sonarr, which means fewer tutorials, fewer answered questions, and more first-time users left guessing.
What we publish
Everything on this site falls into three categories: a clearly marked download that points straight to the official source archive, step-by-step setup guides (Docker, Docker Compose, TrueNAS SCALE, Synology, and version-specific walkthroughs), and practical reference material such as troubleshooting checklists and recommended settings. Guides are written from real setups, in plain language, and updated when the software's landscape changes.
What we are not
We are not the developers of Whisparr, and this site is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Whisparr project. We never rehost, modify or repackage the software — our download button links to the official repository archive precisely so you never have to trust us with a binary. We also do not provide, index or link to any media content; this site is about the tool, and only the tool.
Editorial principles
- Official source only: one download link, pointing at the official archive.
- No invented facts: where version details change over time, we say “check the official source” instead of printing numbers that will go stale.
- Beginner-first writing: every command in our guides is explained, not just pasted.
